Role & Responsibilities
A pool technician is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and proper functioning of swimming pools. Their duties include:
- Maintaining Water Quality and Pool Cleanliness: Regularly checking and adjusting chemical levels to ensure balanced water conditions. Cleaning the pool’s surface, walls, and bottom to remove debris, dirt, and algae.
- Diagnosing and Fixing Minor Pool Issues: Identifying leaks, faulty equipment, and circulation issues. Performing minor repairs on pumps, filters, and other essential components.
- Ensuring Customer Satisfaction and Communication: Providing clients with updates on pool conditions, necessary repairs, and best maintenance practices.
- Complying with Local Health and Safety Regulations: Following industry guidelines for chemical handling and water sanitation.
- Educating Clients on Pool Maintenance Best Practices: Advising pool owners on chemical use, seasonal maintenance, and energy-efficient solutions.
